South Asia came about when UNEP RRC.AP has discussion with youth leaders and youth during the Ministerial Conference on Environment and Development in Asia and the Pacific and the Regional Youth Caucus that were both held in Japan in September 2000. This version was coordinated by Development Alternatives and involved youth writers, editors and visualisers.
