SACEP Message on Environment

"The science of environment is a new emerging discipline which is gaining importance by every passing day. It is multidimensional permeating the ambit of both social and natural sciences and is therefore highly dynamic in space and time. It facilitates life on earth, poses challenges as well as threats to the humanity. Therefore to convert these challenges into opportunities and mitigate threats we must join hands at global, regional, national and sub-national level for sustainable development in the future"

133^rd Consultative Committee Meeting of South Asia Co-operative Environment Programme

The 133rd Meeting of the Consultative Committee (CC) of SACEP was held on 17 February 2022 at the Secretariat. Dr. Md. Masumur Rahman, Director General and Secretary of SACEP secretariat welcomed and thanked the Chairman and the members of the Consultative Committee for their continued support extended to SACEP for implementation of its Governing Council decisions.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the South Asia Co-operative Environment Programme (SACEP) jointly organized a South Asia Regional Training Workshop on “Results-based Monitoring and Evaluation for Climate and Environmental Programs” on 02 and 03 February 2022, from 13:00 pm to 16:00 pm India Standard Time.
