On 6th March 2024, High Commissioner of Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Sri Lanka, paid a courtesy visit to Ms. Rokeya Khaton, the Director General of the South Asia Co-operative Environment Programme (SACEP).
The meeting, held at the SACEP headquarters in Colombo 05, marks a pivotal moment for strengthening environmental collaboration and partnership between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Ms. Rokeya Khaton provided a comprehensive overview of SACEP's ongoing activities, highlighting their significant contributions to environmental initiatives in the region. Mr. W. K. Rathnadeera, Senior Programme Officer of SACEP and Ms.Priyankari Alexander, Programme Officer of SACEP were also present at the meeting.
Expressing gratitude for the fruitful discussion, H.E. Major General Faheem UL. Aziz conveyed appreciation for the collaborative endeavors in the environmental sector.
