The meeting discussed on possible collaboration for a proposed ‘Plastic free Rivers and Seas for South Asia Project’ under consideration by the International Development Association (IDA).
The World Bank delegation shared their plans to support the South Asia region through a grant supported operation and discussed possible collaboration with SACEP. The plans would include support to SACEP for enabling environment and stimulation of actions on the ground through private sector. SACEP welcomed the World Bank initiative and assured its fullest support and cooperation.
