On February 13th, 2024, Ms. Rokeya Khaton, the Director General of the South Asia Co-operative Environment Programme (SACEP), paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency Santosh Jha, the High Commissioner of the Republic of India for Sri Lanka. During the meeting, H.E. Santosh Jha commended SACEP for its remarkable efforts in environmental conservation.
Ms. Rokeya Khaton provided a comprehensive overview of SACEP's ongoing activities, highlighting their significant contributions to environmental initiatives in the region. Mr. W. K. Rathnadeera, Senior Programme Officer of SACEP, was also present at the meeting.
Expressing gratitude for the fruitful discussion, H.E. Santosh Jha conveyed appreciation for the collaborative endeavors in the environmental sector.
